Madonna Liberates Women From The Kitchen
I doubt there is a better role model for battered women everywhere than Madonna.
In an interview on U.S. TV network ABC, she was asked: 'What was the last meal you cooked entirely by yourself?' She replied: 'I don't think I've ever cooked a meal entirely by myself.'
My nannies cook, my housekeeper cooks, the drivers cook, everybody cooks.' Asked if she can cook anything at all, Madonna said: 'No! But I do everything else! Do I have to do everything?
Cooking really is now a man's job.
Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and Celebrity Chef shows everywhere have all shown us that women do not belong in the kitchen.
Time to move out of it and let men cook.

Damn right. I cooked lasagne tonight and my real boss is very good at other stuff :)
Just finished cooking my usual pancake sunday breakfast for the family, think I might start on handmade pasta for dinner soon...
We of course both cook, a good relationship dynamic relies on sharing skill sets.
I love cooking. It's gotten me laid plenty of times. In fact, it's probably the best way of getting laid. :-P
For once, I'm ahead of the game on this one, Cactus.
My grandmother always says that the kitchen is far too dangerous of a pace for us dainty little women.
We know Cactus cant or wont cook
Men and women should do what they are good at, and can do well.
A man may be a better cook, child-minder etc, and a woman may be more fulfilled and successful as a breadwinner and so on.
Nothing wrong with any of those roles. I suspect you will get stick from the knuckle-draggers who are threatened by anything that goes against 'traditional roles' though CK ;-)
I don't think I've ever cooked a meal entirely by myself either, unless you count toast as a cooked meal. But then my wife is a brilliant cook - chef status really. OTOH, she's not as good as me at balancing the household budget...
if you can afford to pay someone else to liberate you from a menial task, then all power to you
If that silly bint can't cook an egg to save herself, who are we to complain or comment... there's any number of silly rich women in Europe and the US that are similarly useless in the kitchen.
RE: Madge; it must be nice to grow up in a hardscrabble Catholic family, make something of yourself, become controversial and then break all the moulds and become and international superstar!
And I think it must be amusingin her "old" age to see the 'new young Gaga thing' rip Madonna off to make $$$... which is the same as 'Madge' did in the '80s, really.
