Labour Gets Smart

The best decision thus far by Labour this year is to scrap a campaign opening.

Tomorrow it will announce instead I assume a sort of compulsory savings plan, where people responsibly already saving will now be made to put money aside today to pay for the retirement of those too irresponsible to save.

When your Leader is pants, the last thing you want is more exposure for him.

Labour in any instance have been campaigning for months starting with their CGT policy which was fronted not by Goff but Parker and Cunliffe with the ongoing assistance of its quasi-Finance Spokesmen Selwyn Pellett, Gareth Morgan with Bernard Hickey excitably cheerleading like a schoolgirl.

Yes... Am just waiting for Bernard to announced his undying allegiance to the Labour party and decide to stand in the 2014 election for the Party.

he is now, officially, an insufferable bore.

I'd venture to suggest that any savings policy announced by Labour is most likely to have the primary intent of saving the electoral arses of Labour MP's.

Bernard Hickey will never stand for the Labour Party because Labour are far too right-wing for him. He's more likely to join the Mana Party, surely?

Yep responsible people will be forced to finance government policies via government bonds issued at below inflation 3% purchased by kiwi saver providers who clip the ticket at 1%.

The banks are well laughing all the way to the bank, government of the day gets some cheap money to piss against the wall and the sheeple cant get out of debt.

This is an example in NZ of the 1% fucking over the 99%. 1% controls / influences government policy to the detriment of the 99%.

@ Anonymous 7:48pm... well the thing is that Bernard's kids go to private school so that rather does count him out of the membership of Mana, although I see where you are going with this.

No Bernard definitely belongs to the chardonnay socialists brigade...
