Men of The Earthquake Day 2

Today it is the NSW and Japanese support teams. Japan didn't fuck around they sent over their own people.

The special target was the CTV building and the Japanese students trapped in there.

I imagine their mission in the CTV building was one of totally anguish but they did everything they could, as did their country to bring home their people alive.

Here are the NSW crew. Many of these guys have been in Queensland dealing with floods according to reports. New Zealand's best mates are Aussies. There's 500 of them in Christchurch currently. All doing their blokey best.

And a chinese team arrvies this morning.

Sitting here in Auckland it's hard to watch the city I grew up in get totaled, but the assistance that other countries have given is an uplift to the spirit.

Was working the CBD yesterday and got to talking to a few of the Aussies. Good blokes whose only concern is getting people out. Somme of these guys were here within 24 hours of the event.

Thats true Anzac spirit.

Poms arrived last night and in search-mode already, jet-lag and all. US team soon to arrive, probably with a Marine Corp band, just like in '42.
