Give Brooklyn Back His Dog!

The SPCA generally do a great job but there are a few zealots in the organisation and here is a story of one. The maths is simple:

Sick kid with no friends + dog = happy sick kid

SPCA take dog from terminally sick kid = unhappy sick kid with no mates.

Solution: Either give Ruby back after the vet check or get the kid another dog!!

Isn't Lower Hutt in Trevor Mallard's electorate? If so I think a bit of enforcement is needed here.

Surely after looking at Trevor's diary today Brooklyn's dog is more important than number 4 - meeting with NZEI reps. And he doesn't need number 8 - coffee.

Peter Mason's SPCA CEO - phone (04) 389 8044, Trevor. There's plenty of dogs in the line-up but I have also gone through and found Brooklyn the perfect new dog that they can supply should Ruby have, like Brooklyn, a terminal illness and not too much time left.

Prince William, a German Shepard mix pup. He's only a month old so shouldn't be too big.

I see that Toot is also available. He's the one who jumped on the train from Masterton with and ended up in Wellington. Just like a certain blogger. Sounds like Toot is a bit scared about the whole thing and needs a home. Perhaps that certain blogger could pick up Toot and take him (cough, cough), back to Masterton to roam the paddocks. Toot can take out FARRK the Pheasant before the bloody thing finishes off all the Veuve Clicquot.

Update - I am informed that Trevor Mallard has indeed tried to contact the mother of said sick kid via the repeater who brought us the story. Hopefully she can give her permission if she is a constituent for Trevor to put his evil powers to good use to go beat up the SPCA.
