Whaleoil Suspended from VRWC
Whaleoil is now suspended from the VRWC pending a full inquiry based on this recent full-on lovefest endorsement from Matt McCarten.
These two really need to get a room. And be locked in it.
Mmmmmmatt says Whaleoil has a "social conscience, does volunteer work and has a good brain". Apparently this is all that's now required from a candidate for them to be endorsed by a pinko.
Social conscience? For fuck's sake he wants to kill starving whales and "does volunteer work" . His whole friggin day is volunteer work - he doesn't get paid to work. A classic case of a pinko endorsing a candidate because the candidate is clearly "waffly", without corporate backing and there is now a sickly shade of pink to Slater.

Hear hear! I much prefer the Whale Oil that is an equal opportunity offender, hated by all lefties. :)
I have passed the high praise from Matt to the Standard, in case they too want to lend their support to their newest comrade.
Also for daring to slag off Roger Douglas. There are some lines you do not cross.
Slagging off Roger Douglas is appropriate. He should have held Lange's posterior to the fire long enough to get proper structural reform through. Which should have led to those traitors Clarke and Goff (who were in gummint at the time) to LEAVE and implode with NuLabour.
Which woould have left us with a proper liberal party. Instead of the stupid politics of identity we have.
And Matt has nasty, terminal cancer. He should all be sympathetic to him. He may be a leftie, but he is not run by a teleprompter...
