Phil Triford Admits Left Wing Conspiracy

Yet another example of why politicians should not blog (except for Trevor Mallard who is hilarious)

Mallard posted a funny about Andrew Williams.

The Business Roundtable want a House of Lords for NZ and are considering asking Andrew Williams to lead the liberal peers.

Phil Triford (turned down now by three Labour electorates aka Spokesman for the Homeless) could not help himself trying to link the conspiracy to ACT and the invisible section of the National Party to the right.

Phil Twyford says:

Let’s be clear about this, Andrew Williams is the target of an orchestrated right wing hatchet job. Putting aside some of the self-inflicted distractions, he has been an effective critic of Rodney Hide’s super city fiasco. Pissing against a tree or doing serious damage to Auckland’s democracy? I know which I think is the greatest sin.

Cactus Kate says:

Phil Twyford

Interesting spin however I don’t recall when the VRWC have purchased the SST or it’s reporters.

If you want conspiracy I think you should focus on why you still have no electorate candidacy in the Labour Party despite how many tries now?

Is that an orchestrated right wing hatchet job as well?

Lord Pomme de Terre says:

Phil does a great job LEAVE HIM ALONE! Phil has done nothing wrong.

And it’s true that Williams wouldn’t be the first or last to have a leek in public.

Cactus Kate says:

Lord Pomme de Terre

“Phil does a great job LEAVE HIM ALONE! Phil has done nothing wrong”.

If that’s the case then why hasn’t he got his own electorate yet from the Labour Party?

Then some village idiot Dorothy intervenes to set up the own goal. Labour are world famous for jigging selections. Triford is being screwed and everyone knows it. Except for Dorothy.

  1. Dorothy says:

you have to admire CK’s persistence, if not her logic, trying to get traction with a failed line. (BTW no-one has the power to “give” someone an electorate and ain’t it great that there is such a depth of talent to choose from?)
Meanwhile, back on the actual topic, why stop at a House of Lords – why not bring back feudalism? It worked well for centuries…

Traction? How about words from the MP himself at precisely the same time? Oops.....
  1. Phil Twyford says:

@ Cactus – No I think you’ll find that is a vast LEFT wing conspiracy.

So here it is in writing - Phil Triford believes his failure to win selection at local level is a left wing conspiracy.

Come on Labour, give Triford a home!!
