Stephen A Bit Too Frank
Poor old Stephen Franks just tanked his campaign a great leap backward in the very liberal Wellington Central.
Witness this piece of brilliance - from Grant Robertson. Many were disappointed with Stephen's choice to depart from ACT to National, but with all respect to Stephen's legal mind and analytical skill and best of luck for his campaign in Wellington Central - this ladies and gentlemen is why he wasn't chosen to lead ACT.
"I love my dog but it doesn't mean I should be able to marry it". In response to whether love was enough for marriage.
Dumb enough to be saying this on tape.....for the professional state funded bloggers at The Standard. Every meeting Robertson goes to he should just play this tape. I find it completely hilarious.....and I am not a Pinko.
Chris Finlayson would have been a much better choice in that electorate. I mean really!
Update: In India it appears possible for dogs to get married.
See - all you need is love.

I LOVE it!
He is such a tosser. And it was not a 'out of context' quote. Franks is just as painful in person.
ACT will be thanking their stars that he jumped ship.
