The Sugar Bitch
It was once the domain of men to provide for women, who in turn surrendered appropriate levels of power and control. However with the advent of women in society receiving increasing incomes, ridiculously oppressive matrimonial judgments and inheritance, there is an identifiable breed of evil women doing it to men. The gender opposite of the sugar daddy has given us the creature called the “sugar bitch”.
The sugar bitch is typically in her late 40’s or early 50’s. She has a successful; business, career, matrimonial settlement or death in the family. She has more money than she knows to do with and this throws up some interesting results in dealing with the male of the species.
Most women look at Demi Moore as a classic example of the perfect sex life. Not only does she look timelessly darn hot, she first married the sexy older man, then as he was getting too difficult and folically challenged that relationship ended and she took up with the most eligible young bachelor in Hollywood. She has managed the perfect scenario that the former husband has accepted being traded in on a younger model and they all remain friends. It is too good to be true.
And it is.
Demi is an exception. Dumping an older man for a younger one results only in extreme amounts of pure, unadulterated anger. There can be nothing less politically correct regardless of your age than dumping a man in his 40’s or 50’s and running into that man with another man in his 20’s adorning your body. Demi’s new man is no slouch himself so she does not fit the classic sugar bitch definition.
The classic situation is a younger man with an older woman, who has much more wealth than he does and pays for everything. Regardless of how pleasant that targeted younger man is, like the gender reverse, society treats the motive suspiciously.
It is only natural when you are paying to demand control, but the sugar bitch is a creature of her own. Her target may already be with a younger woman. However the sugar bitch will transmit chaos and mayhem through her superior experience, cunning and wallet by procuring gifts for the target and sometimes even his girlfriend and dig her claws into the situation at every available opportunity. Her mission is to use her money and prospect of future wealth to entice the target. If already in a relationship, she may buy his way into a business and then control his actions by that funding. He may stray to another woman, but he will never leave because he cannot afford to as the sugar bitch may not control the honey but she does definitely the money. The sugar bitch simply gets off on the control. Something she may not have experienced in her life before her newly found wealth.
The difficulty of being on the receiving end of the sugar bitch is that there is no real counter and even if you manage to find one, the problem remains that any man who lets a woman control his behaviour through finances is a total emasculated unappealing girl’s blouse.
There is only one thing more intolerably disgusting than watching a man get treated like a walking ATM machine by a woman and it is a man treating a woman like a walking ATM machine and bending over to do so. While many men joke about loving to have a woman pay for everything, I have previously advised that eventually it will hit him fair in the testicles. Usually when another man makes a dig at the situation late at night and under the influence of alcohol.
Insight into the sugar bitch psyche explains also why most successful and powerful women in New Zealand society have such comparative underachievers as husbands or boyfriends. These men have been picked to be play things and second to the career or business woman. When I come across one I feel the need to give that husband a hug and tell him to go whip up some scones with jam. I simply cannot respect them as equals as there is a large difference between being supportive and being subservient.
Such a line a man should never cross.
