I am not a Union member (obviously).
As such I can only see one downside so far in having my lifestyle supplemented in part by John Fairfax. He appears to sanction the purchase of lots of other forms of communication medium in addition to his current empire therefore plainly reducing your ability to make cannon fodder of other writers for they are now members of “The Group”.
R.I.P. Jenni McManus and The Independent bashing then….
No longer can I poke fun at Scuttlebutt for: reporting that Soul makes Eric Watson (not so) special fish and chips, revealing details of Rodney Hide’s special relationship with his former secretary - his sister and the swipe last week at Barry Colman’s present relationship and location status all under the dirty guise of redundant NBR stalwart Jock Anderson.
Rightyo……time to move on. Two starters for 10 then just for Jenni:
Hasn’t the NBR got decidedly shit since Deborah Hill Cone left?
And doesn’t Deborah Coddington have a God damned awful lot to say about the future of ACT, Rodney Hide and PR stunts when easily the worst piece of PR for the Party prior to the election was her letter handling of the mis-affair with strong supporter, all round good brainy right wing chap and representative of major funders’ of the Party, Roger Kerr?

Nice one Deborah, at least Pam Corkery had the good grace to shut up eventually after her failed term as an MP.

Couldn't help bring up the Kerr affair realy? You are right though. She did worse damage than any other MP. Ker and teh BRT were Acts biggest supporters.
